Rose Crochet Pattern

Rose Crochet Pattern

$2.00

This downloadable, printable PDF pattern is for a realistic, multi-petal crocheted rose. The pattern does NOT include the leaves. They can be found in this pattern.

Roses are so romantic and they're one of my favorite flowers to grow in my garden and to paint. I was frustrated by the lack of realistic crocheted rose patterns and so I modified a pattern I found online to look more like a real rose. The technique is simple and yields a beautiful result. The 13 page printable pattern includes many step-by-step photographs and detailed written instructions.

This flower can be used to adorn necklaces and other jewelry as well as hats, bags and clothing. Add a pin back and you have a lovely brooch. As long as you match your fiber with the correctly sized crochet hook, you can use just about any weight of thread or yarn.

Skills needed: crocheting a chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet. Simple sewing (for securing the rose's petals into a rosette shape).

This is a downloadable 13 page PDF with many photographs throughout.

I use standard American crochet terms throughout this pattern.

Please note: this pattern only walks you through the steps to create the flower. The leaves shown a couple of the photos above are modified from this pattern: and not included in the download. To create a bracelet you can sew the roses onto a cuff or bangle like in this pattern.

Please remember that creating these designs and writing this pattern represents many hours of my work. I hope that you will respect my time and my creativity and not share or copy this pattern in any form. Feel free to create your own roses to sell, but if you do, I ask that you mention my pattern, my shop and my website with a link or in print on your materials.

Because of the nature of the downloadable PDF, this pattern is non-returnable.
