Sending Love

How are you doing? I hope you’re staying well. Hanging in there. Navigating your way through these days. Noticing joy.

Last week I invited you to share your story and I’m inviting you again this week. Share your thoughts, feelings, anything you want to chat about.

I’ve written and deleted paragraph after paragraph for this post, unsure what to say. Unsure what’s necessary. Unsure what makes sense for this space. And this time.

So instead of writing out my thoughts I’ll share some photos from my studio and garden. A sort of Joy List in pictures.

But first I want to send some love.

Earlier this week I sent this heart to my Joy Letter subscribers, but I wanted to share it here, too. Just click on the photo to download and print. My gift to you. A little love to brighten your day. I hope it will be a reminder to look for Joy, too.

Because I do know that JOY, MAGIC, BEAUTY are everywhere once you start looking.

Here’s what I’ve been noticing lately:

Orchids blooming in my studio.

The magic of color mixing from a live online class I taught this week (would you be interested in a class like that?).

The magic of color mixing with watercolor paint

Rose canes waking up.

Rose Stems Beginning to Bud

Self-seeded violas popping up in my vegetable bed.

Bleeding heart plants pushing up out of the soil.

All of this has been good for my soul.

Keep noticing my friends.

Take good care.
