Watercolor Begonia in a Clay Pot Fine Art Print

Watercolor Begonia in a Clay Pot Fine Art Print

from 16.00

This archival fine art print reproduces my original painting of an angel wing begonia with dark green leaves dotted with pale pink.

These plants are sometimes also called dragon wing begonias. Both names hint at the magic of this understated plant. The leaves are even more dramatic because of their deep, red undersides.

Isn't it a bit magical to have plants growing in your home? Whether they're splashy, flowering plants; tall, towering tree-like plants or quieter, simple succulents, each houseplant has its charms and connects you to nature. When snow blows past your window in the wintertime houseplants promise of the green of spring.

Framed and hung in your home (an example of framing can be seen in the second to last photo) this painting will whisper the magic of the angel wing begonia and remind you to find joy no matter the season.

I take great care with the whole print-making process, from scanning the image to resizing it to checking the colors and printing test prints, it's a long process that yields a beautiful result. The velvet fine art paper is textured and matte made from 100% cotton fibers. The texture is somewhere between that of cold pressed and hot pressed watercolor paper, a little less tooth than the former and a little more tooth than the latter. It reproduces my paintings beautifully.

The prints measure 4 inches by 6 inches, 5 inches by 7 inches (not pictured) or 8 inches by 10 inches.

I sign the front of each print with my initials (just as I do my paintings).

Every order is lovingly gift wrapped with a handwritten note. You can see examples in the last photo.

Note: Image copyright and reproduction rights are not included with the print.

Print is unframed and not matted.
